For Sale: 1976 Triumph Spitfire in Gig Harbor, Washington for sale in Gig Harbor, WA

Vehicle Description This car is the most beautiful Triumph Spitfire I've ever seen! It's a total head turner! It has been fully restored, and it is in excellent condition.
The restoration was started prior to 2012 by one owner, and then it was completed in 2012/2013 by the owner who essentially sold the car to me (see notes on previous owners).
The owner prior to me spent over $12,000 on the restoration, and this does not include the exhaust, wheels, seats, door panels, top, and tonneau cover, which were restored by the previous owner, and which exceed $4,000 in parts cost alone.
Maintenance and restoration records are included back to June 2012, as well as a Word document on driving and maintenance tips completed by the previous owner and me.
Upgrades include twin carburetors, larger valves and port enlargement, performance exhaust, corner balancing, electric fan kit, overdrive for both 3rd and 4th gear, quick disconnect battery with battery tender, front coil overs, three-point seatbelts, 2 speaker stereo system with a subwoofer in the trunk, and more.
The interior is gorgeous with a beautiful African rosewood dash paired with an E.
Nardi steering wheel.
The previous tires did not have any wear, but they were replaced with Hankook Kinergy H735 tires in Fall 2022 since they were 11 years old.
The car handles well, and brakes well.
No mechanical failures have occurred during my ownership, and I have not had a failure to start, even after winter storage.
I have driven the car regularly in the non-winter months.
The washer fluid does not work (motor replaced in Summer 2022), although you'll never use it anyway since this is a fair-weather car.
The source is likely the windshield wiper switch, which you push in to work the washer fluid.
It can be replaced if desired, but I never used it (the wipers still work).
The passenger outer door handle does not always open the door fully, so I just reach in and use the inner door handle.
A video of this is included.
The driver's seat headrest can be stubborn to fully remove and replace if you are putting on the tonneau cover.
These cars are easy and inexpensive to work on, so both can be repaired, but I have never felt they impeded the joy of the car.
The vinyl soft top has only been raised a couple of times since I've owned the car, and it is in excellent condition, but doesn't seal very tight to the windows, so outdoor storage is not recommended.
It works fine if you get caught out in the rain though.
This car has been garage kept since 2012, and likely longer.
The Monza exhaust growls and adds power to the 75
hp engine.
This is not a speed machine.
It's a wonderful back road driver.
The are no known accidents prior to the restoration, and none since.
This is a super fun and gorgeous fair-weather car.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people stop to look at the car and tell you stories of their adventures in a British convertible.
Just the other day I parked the car in town on an outing to get lunch.
I parked behind a stunning new Porsche Carrera S convertible with a beautiful paint color and interior scheme.
From my table I watched passerby after passerby stop to look at this Spitfire and to take photographs of it.
No one stopped by the Carrera.
That's the response this car elicits.
