We are a busy Marine Repair Business in need of a part time person for Admin, HR and Bookkeeper.
Applicant should have QuickBooks and ADP knowledge.
Job is for Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm.
Job is on-site, upstairs in our shop.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Tallying up employee time tickets and preparing payroll for input in ADP.
Keeping track of ADP reports, maintaining ADP with employee information, keep ADP up to date on agency tax rates.
Also responsible for keeping handbook in ADP up to date.
Distribute handbook and other payroll or company handouts.
Monitor ADP reports for month end, year end and tax payments.
Keep required employment posters up to date.
Use In-house point of sale program month end reports to calculate and pay DOR for Sales Tax.
Monitor and pay other state tax requirements.
Also use POS month end reports with information from QuickBooks for reports to management.
Reconcile warranty payments from vendor to company.
We use QuickBooks for Accounts Payable and monthly reports only.
Store Sales and Accounts Receivable are done in our POS system and this position is not responsible, other than printing month end figures.
Responsible for accounts payable, keeping track of pack slips, invoices and statements and getting the okay to pay.
Pay the invoice or statement by paper check if vendor or payee does not have electronic bill pay available, this process will not change.
Keep checking account in QuickBooks accurate and balanced.
Input payroll figures into QuickBooks.
We do not upload checking account or visa card transactions, they will be input manually by you, this will also not change.
Our website is complete, but this position will update it periodically with the motors we available and some articles etc.
There are other duties not outlined here and the duties above may change as needed.
You are not responsible for daily answering the phone, but it if other staff needs help to answer and take messages, that would be helpful.
