Summary:
The Toll Supervisor manages and monitors toll collector activities and communicates any lane problems to the Maintenance Field Supervisor.
This position requires you to work any shift, i.
e, days, graveyards, and shift lengths up to 12 hours.
This position is staffed 24x7 and reports to the Senior Toll Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Directly supervises 5-12 employees.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
Planning, assigning, and directing work.
Issues change funds.
Checks-in and verifies end-of-tour deposits.
Monitors both Open Road Tolling (ORT) and manual toll lanes.
Adjusts booth operations for peak efficiency.
Resolves unexpected traffic events.
Addresses toll lane customer issues.
Responds to toll collector injuries.
Monitors collector performance and attendance Provides the Toll Plaza Manager with required reports.
Assigns collectors to lanes and coordinates shift breaks.
Ensures that daily cash handling and deposit procedures are followed by each toll collector.
Conducts or monitors toll collector initial training as well as on-going training.
Completes performance reviews for TransCore employees that are immediate subordinates and provides periodic feedback to staffing agencies as needed.
Assumes the role of toll collector as needed.
Education:
Associates degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience Experience in cash handling and cash close out / reconciliation procedures Knowledge and experience in traffic safety Salary Range:
Up to $59,599; based upon experience.
