This is an entry-level position, 3 days per week (12-15 hours) with opportunity for advancement and growth.
Starting Rate:
$17.
50 per hour.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Submitting claims to insurance Contacting insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits Following-up with insurance companies regarding any idle or denied claims Assisting with reconciling client accounts Posting payments received from insurance payers in the practice management system Completing other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
Able to work independently Well spoken Detail oriented Clear communicator Computer proficiency (required) Strong work ethic Excellent administrative skills Effectively resolves problems in a timely manner Adapts to competing priorities and meets strict deadlines.

Qualifications:
Experience in an medical office setting as an administrative assistant, medical coder or biller preferred (but not required) Familiar with common practice management systems, such as Simple Practice/Theranest/TherapyNotes Job Type:
